Data Deletion Policy

We believe your training data belongs to you. This page explains how to delete your k9 tracks account and associated data.
What will be deleted
- Account profile information (name, email).
- Tracks, sessions, notes, and attachments stored by k9 tracks.
- Telemetry and app metadata tied to your account.
Note: Deleting the app from your device will not delete data stored in the cloud if you used sign‑in. You must request account deletion.
How to request deletion
- ✔ Email privacy@k9tracks.istari.nu from the email address associated with your account.
- ✔ Use the subject line “Data Deletion Request”.
- ✔ In the message, confirm that you want to permanently delete your account and all associated data.
We will verify your request via a reply to the same email address. For security we may ask for limited additional verification (e.g., a recent track name).
Processing time
- We acknowledge requests within 7 days.
- We complete deletion within 30 days of verification.
- Backups are pruned on a rolling basis and are fully purged within 90 days.
Partial deletion or local‑only users
If you use k9 tracks without signing in, your data is stored locally on your device. You can delete this data by removing the app or using in‑app delete features. No cloud request is needed.
Legal and fraud prevention exceptions
We may retain minimal information if required by law or to detect, prevent, or investigate fraud, security, or abuse. Such data is minimized and retained only for as long as necessary.
